Portland Oregon’s best Board & Train program is a Personalized, In‑Home Training Experience to give you and your dog a head start on your future together.
Our Board & Train is an immersive, in-home program designed to improve your dog’s mindset, behavior, and understanding of communication. By the end of the program, your dog will have improved leash and verbal communication, including coming when called, relaxing on their bed or in a down-stay when asked, and demonstrating better leash manners on walks. Most importantly, your dog will leave with clearer structure, better decision-making skills, and an improved ability to navigate everyday life. Our Board & Train programs are an investment in long-term clarity, balance, and a better relationship between you and your dog.

Who is this program for?
Our 3-week Mindset Makeover board and train program is designed for easy, happy go lucky dogs. Dogs must be crate and potty trained.
This program covers the following:
Communication through markers, basic obedience commands (sit, place, down, start of recall), improved leash manners and elements of play.
This program includes:
Video Instructions for your dog’s return home
2 hour go home session at your home (I bring your dog to you)
2 - 60 minutes in-home training sessions
Unlimited After care via phone, email, or video
Open to dog at leash 6 months of age

Off-Leash Fulfillment
Who is this program for?
Our 4-week program is for dogs that are needing extra help with their obedience training and those with some behavior issues and owners who want E-collar training. Dogs must be crate and potty trained.
This program cover the following:

Communication through markers, basic obedience commands (sit, place, down, start of recall), improved leash manners and elements of play. Remote collar off leash training, We also address behavior issues, such as jumping, nipping, demand barking and counter-surfing.
This program includes:
Video Instructions for your dog’s return home
2 hour final go-home lesson
3 - 60 minutes in home visits
Unlimited After care via phone, email, or video
Open to dogs at least 6 months of age

*Does not include the cost of the ecollar which can range $219.99 - $429.99 depending on the size and needs of your dog(s)
*Board and Train space is limited to 1 dog per month.
**Aggressive dog will be recommedned to private lessons.
***Reactivity may be recommended to private lessons depending on severity
How our Train & Board works
Step one: on-boarding
After we’ve ensured that we are the right fit, we’ll get you started with an onboarding form. This form is where we get to know your dog, what their home life is like and their behaviors and what goals you have for your dog.
Step two: The Board & Train
Your dog will be staying with me in my home with my dog and my family. I will work with your dog daily during the board and train to establish and pattern new behaviors and skills. I will be getting your dog out of the old and into a new way of being. These skills will be the foundation for future problem-solving and building your relationship with your dog. In addition, during the board and train, I will post pictures and videos Instagram so you can follow along with their progress.
Step three: Your turn
After your dog completes the program, I will bring your dog back to you for a 2 hour go home session. You and your dog will be excited to be reunited, so the focus of the lesson will be to talk about life moving forward, work on the video instructions provided. We will meet each sequential week for 60 minutes to continue to train you.
Step four: Training maintenance
At the end of your program and you have completed your in-home lessons, you will have unlimited email support which includes access to our Google Drive to upload videos, ask questions, and get detailed responses.
