The Essential obedience Course is the head start having a dog that will listen when you need them to.

Obedience training is a foundational component to clear communication with your dog. Our essential Obedience group class can alleviate the stress of unpredictable behavior and reduce the challenges of a dog that doesn’t listen.

What is covered?

• Feedback Markers : Good, Yes and Nope

• The Foundation of leash communication

• Obedience Commands: Place, Sit, and Down (with distractions present)

• The basics to leash walking

• A Calmer state-of-mind

• How to read your dog, and give them guidance

**This course is available to most dogs. Dogs that have strong reactivity or aggression will not be allowed and we recommend our Private lessons.

• Class is limited to 5 working spots. 1 dog per handler

• Bring a food pouch and food or treats

• We recommend a STANDARD leash and MARTINGALE style collar

• we may recommend a Slip lead or prong collar depending on your dog’s needs

• Keep a hold of your leash at all times

• Maintain space from other dogs/handlers

• If your dog is too disruptive and we cannot work though it we may recommend Private lessons

• No refunds are available as spots are limited and each weekly lesson is built off of the previous class
